Pauline S. Schneegas Wildlife Foundation Resues Bear CubsThis yearling bear at Nancy Limbach’s wildlife rehabilitation facility in Silt is one of four to be transported to the Grand Mesa on Tuesday. Nineteen orphaned and abandoned cubs have spent part of this hibernation season at the Silt facility. The Colorado Division of Wildlife is transporting the caged yearlings to snowy den sites where they will continue to hibernate until June. See Thursday’s Citizen Telegram for complete story.
